Career Employment for Math Majors

Mathematics majors have a wide variety of careers to choose from:

• Education: primary, secondary, or higher

• High-tech Industry: programming, computation, signal processing, statistical analysis

• Actuarial Firms: probability & statistics

• Financial Firms: mathematical modeling, risk analysis

At Northeastern University, career employment is frequently related to, and an outgrowth from, Coop positions.
